One Day a woman came to the village Bible study I attend in rural Albaina. She was a new Christian and was very grateful for what Jesus had done for her. "But"' she said, "I don't know anything about him! I don't know who this Jesus is."
Mark knew. When writing about Jesus, Mark didn't take time to repeat details that Matthew, Luke and John had already written about. He doesn't mention the birth of Jesus or His childhood, but rather reveals Jesus by drawing us into what He does. Mark wants to show us exactly who Jesus is and how we should respond to Him.
You will read each chapter in the study book "Who is this Jesus" and answer corresponding questions in your home, then come on Thursday evening and share what you have discovered, ask your own questions and discuss with others what you have seen of Jesus' power, aurhority, and what broke His heart.
