Our History

In November 1994, Liberty Pentecostal Church in Bowmanville planted a new church in the village of Newcastle. At the time, the church was named Crossroads Christian Assembly and was under the Pastoral Leadership of Rev. Rob Brower.  The church located just off the 115 was planted with the heart to reach the communities of Newcastle and Orono specifically.

In 2012 Rev. Trevor Headrick succeeded Pastor Rob with a vision and a heart for the people of what was a soon-to-be-bustling growing village. Over his years as Sr. Pastor, the church was renamed Newcastle Pentecostal Church which represented what the church's goal, mission and identity were.

While the face of the church has changed both internally and externally over the years, one thing remains constant; a desire to see God move among His people, never like before. Combine that with a heart that is growing for the community and beating to see it transformed with the light of Christ.

Newcastle Pentecostal Church truly is a family church - where you can come and belong, where you can find encouragement, friendship, biblical teaching, heartfelt worship, and so much more.

And while our history is important - don't forget that the best is yet to come!
